May Horse Collage!!

My horses look so much alike that its hard for just anyone to tell which one is which!
haha!!

They are soo different though! Have my Left-brain introvert and my right-brained extrovert.

Month of May horse fun picture collage =P
I love my horses y'all! The three of us just belong together.
Top left picture I took that right after my mare side passed really well for the first time on the ground! My gelding is always yawning when I try and take his picture lol!
So I haven't felt like i've been able to spend all that much time with my horses this month as much as I would have wanted too. But lookin back on these pictures are happy! So thankful for all the time I get to spend doin' something I love!
:)

What do you see?

I just read a article written by Linda Paterson (We know her as Linda Parelli). Called My Journey to Becoming a Natural Horseman. It was issued back in 1995! She talks about her journey into natural horsemanship, also how horses are kind of like a mirror of ourselves.
Just last month I had the privilege to work/addict at a Trevor Carter 3/4 clinic! It was a awesome experience! Also since I had all this time to just sit, watch, and listen. I started to notice how the horses look/act like their humans. Like I'm for real! It was like watching a hundred and one dalmatians again. Where in the beginning of the movie they show all the people and their dogs and they all look alike.
All this made me take a step back and look at me and my horses. Both of my horses look pretty much the same...

They act different. But different in the same way.. if that makes any since haha! When I first got my mare back it 2008 she was crazy! But now she is a awesome horse. I take naps on her back and let little girls ride her. All that good stuff. Its the same with my gelding. I just bought him not to long ago. He's crazy. Its the same kind of crazy that my mare had and the same kind of crazy I fell in love with. It gives me hope to see my mare doing so good now. Because I don't always know what I'm doing or if I'm doing it right. But I must be doing something right if she is turning out alright! I'm not done learning. I will never be done. One of my goals about horsemanship is to never think i know.. I want to always be learning.
So... reading Linda's article and what I saw at the clinic. If my horses are more a mirror of me. What do I see? Is is good or is it bad? I don't know about you but looking into a mirror can be kind of scary thing. The first thing you see are your flaws right? Unless you don't have any ;) Honestly though...
Sometimes its so easy to blind yourself from the truth or not listen to certain people in your life because you know they will just speak truth to you.
Its so good for us to have friends in our lives that love you but aren't impressed with you. That speak truth to you in a loving way. Especially as Christians. We need to find a good christian friends like that.
For me tho... Next time I go out with my horses not only will I be watching and listening to them. But as I watch them I know in a mirrored way I will see myself. And this is awesome because I'll be able to see what I need to work on. How I can be more clear in communication in my relationship with them. Something els though I can take is that in that mirrored view I will be able to see my flaws as a person. Things that in a normal mirror wouldn't be able to see. And I could take that into my relationship with others right? With God, family, friends.

Horses for me are more then just something I do because I love it. God gave me horses to learn more about Him and to bring glory to Him. Most of my best quit times I've had with God has been out riding or just out with the horses.

Fighting the fight against sin, self, satan, and this SORRY OL' WORLD!!!!

The weekend before last I was a counselor at a Winter Camp. And it was awesome! :D
This was kind of unexpected but a answer to prayer. They had a female counselor cancelled on them and needed someone to take that place. And I was excited to say yea I'll help out!
When I got there and started to help out before leaving for the camp I realized I knew only two people. But by the end of the weekend when we where having a small group with our girls they said it was like they have known me long time. I thought that was so awesome!
It was awesome to be with a great group of middle school and high schoolers learning how to be a Fighter!

If you ever have a chance to serve and encourage people younger then you. Go for it!
Not only was it awesome for me to able to serve others. But I learned so much on being a Fighter."For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12

Its so important for us not to forget to put on the armor of God daily and to actually use it. And that we need to claim the VICTORY. Because Jesus has already overcome the world!
"...In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

"13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people."

Its a new year! Or just another day haha;)
I'm excited to start this new year! Looking forward to see what all God is gonna do. I just know that its going to be amazing.
Something that I thought was so cool! A perfect way to end 2012 and to start 2013. Is that I sent in my Parelli Level 1 online audition and just last week I got a email saying I passed!!
=D
I was bouncing off the walls excited! It feels like a small accomplishment but also huge step in the right direction. I am loving Parelli and looking forward to pursing it this year!!

Here is my audition that I sent in.

passed with 1+
=D

Giving all the glory to God!
A big thanks to my instructor! She helped me out soo much. I don't think I could have done it without all her help and her encouragement! So kind and patient with me:)

Christmas this year was amazing! :D

I got this letter from my Grandpoder the Saturday before Christmas. And I felt like it was a perfect way to start what felt like a 3 day Christmas!
Christmas eve's eve (Sunday) My church had Christmas eve services. So we went Sunday afternoon. And it was beautiful! After that my man and I headed to his family's house to open presents and watch a christmas story. :)
What more could a girl ask for?
Spending time with her dad and dog!

On Christmas eve my family had our morning breakfast then opened presents and what not the day before Christmas.

That evening Dad and I went and had some fun!!

My Daddy!

Then on Christmas we went to my Grandparents house and had a good ol' breakfast prepared my amazing grandparents and a couple of my Aunts.
Then it snowed!!! =D

I love Christmas at my Grandparents house. Its so small and we have to all crowed around each other. I love my family! Truly am soo blessed!!
I sneaked a picture of my Papa talking to my boyfriend!
Its cute :p

I was all worried a bit before Christmas wondering how it would all work out haha! and I had no need to be! It was a great 3 days!
I hope i'll be able to always look back and be thankful for everything I had or have. Blessed beyond what I deserve.

"But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins."
Matthew 1:20-21

Relationship first

These past few weeks have been rough ones.
Hints the no new blog post.
But even though its been hard.
 Its really not that bad.
and i know
ItWillAllWorkOut :)

Hopefully soon I'll be able to post a happy post about Thanksgiving with my family. Or something about my sister engagement!!!  But until then... I would just like to say.

How blessed I am!
To have this horse:)
She's been with me through a lot. I love it cause at the end of the day.. no matter what seemed to happen that day. If we had a bad time together. If we where happy to see each other or not. When we walk to the barn or out to the pasture. I put the lead rope over her back or have no lead rope at all. And she walks beside me like a bestfriend.
I know she's just a horse.
I guess just sometimes... every girl needs a shoulder to cry on.

"Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."
Romans 5:3-4

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."
2 Corinthians 4:18

Horse and Soul 2012!!

Had a great weekend at the Parelli Horse and Soul stop in Texas!!
One of my favorite parts about the weekend (besides it was all about horses) is that Saturday I had both my parents with me and my boyfriend drove down for the day:)
double date with my patents and a day filled with horses!
I was the HAPPIEST GIRL IN THE WORLD!

It really was awesome having my parents and my man with me. It's great to have their encouragement in something I love to do!

I learned soo much! Already looking forward to next years and excited to see all i've learn be put into action. Also while I was there I got some new equipment! my mom surprised me and bought me one of those big green balls. I say bought me but who's gonna "have a ball" playing with that ball? the horses! haha! And I bought another halter (we got a couple of more horses out at the ranch so it will and has come in handy), and a 22ft line :)
I let my girl have the new halter ;p
I feel soo blessed and loved!
Really enjoying all I am learning from Parelli. Can't wait to turn what i've learned into helping others.

Ok! When Kelly Krickeberg rode in with the American flag. It gave me chills!
**So beautiful**

Thought I would end with Pat Parelli's 45 P's.

Pat Parelli's 45 P's:
"P
at Parelli Proudly Presents his Provocative and Progressive Programs and the Proclamation that Prior and Proper Preparation Prevents P-Poor Performance, Particularly if Polite and Passive Persistence is Practiced in the Proper Position. This Perspective takes Patience from Process to Product, from Principle to Purpose. The Promise that Pat Plans to Prove is that Practice does not make Perfect, only Perfect Practice makes Perfect and, isn’t it Peculiar how these poor Prey animals Perceive People as Predators Prior to Practicing the Parelli Programs."

"Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Philipians 2:4-11 :)
