Just a vapour:)

so.. woke up at 5:20 this morning tossing and turning.
Wasn't really planning to wake up that early but hey it all worked out :)
Went to the ranch to spend time with my girl.
I would not say we had the most productive "play time". But tried my best to end on a good note:)
GOAL: Get all 7 games down.
(its gonna take a while. And that's ok)

About a 2 weeks ago my horse and I got to go see a 1 star parelli instructor!
It was a awesome time and learned a lot. It was also very encouraging!
And I thought the next day that is was my horse and I first time to be in arena together where the ground did not feel like a rock. I can now check that off my bucket list!!
(sometimes its just the simple things in life)
:)

There is my lovely horse in the trailer <3
We had to barrow my neighbor's trailer. Very kind of them!
And! my Dad!! so loving. haha dealing with a horse crazy daughter and all that follows behind her when she pulls horse trailer ;)

ok! lets shift gears. Monday night my boyfriend came out to the ranch with me to play with my horse:)) Made me a happy girl. He ended up watching us and taking pictures.
We even had a "movie" moment. Where my horse gave me a slight nudge into his arms.
it was funny...!

*beautiful*

aww:) Thats a sweet picture... not ready for him to go back to college.

Thats all for now. Thanks for stopin' by ;)
God bless!

With my Dad

Sunday date with the best Dad in the world.
:p
picture a Sunday afternoon after church. And Daddy and daughter are just walking around the house not knowing what to do.. yup that was us. So... NATURALLY we "go and cause some trouble"
(we really don't go and cause trouble at least not big trouble)
We started to say that when I was still in high school and mom was gone on business and my sister gone at college. We would go "cause trouble" together.

What we ended up doing. Was loading up my dog in the back seat of my truck driving to sonic and got two large vanilla sweet teas. Then a drive to the ranch to feed my "four legged hungry horse" (as my dad would say).
And of course!! how could a girl go wrong spending time with her daddy, her dog, TRUCK, going to feed her horse, and don't forget the sonic drink ;p
Once we got to the ranch and fed my girl. We drove down to the bottoms and did donuts in my truck.
I always used to say the crazy teenager stuff I did I always did with my Dad. And its mostly true.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

verse of the day for me :))

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Matthew 6:33-34

Summer Mornings

**Isn't she beautiful**
Woke up 5:45 this morning to head out to the ranch to play with my girl:)
I played the friendly game, porcupine game, and a bit of driving game with her. I think we did good.. I say "I think" cause I am definitely still learning and its easy to get frustrated at myself. But I'm learning and its FUN!

After that went for a ride. I was not planning on ridin' today but as soon as I opened the garage door to walk out to my truck felt the coolness of the morning and all good stuff. Then I saw my saddle and was like YES for sure gonna ride!
So glad we did to.. started in the arena then ended up down in the bottoms away from the crowd of campers and staff. I keep my horse at a summer camp. Although I love the kids and the staff is great. I kind of like "alone away from the noise" time once and a while.
We rode down to the first creek crossing the just stopped on the other side. It took me a few years to be honest to see the beauty down in the bottoms. Its all hilly and cool down there. Also the water is clear blue and is always flowing.
wrong!
Its flat, HOT in the summer time. The water is brown and only flows if there is enough water down there. haha But its AWESOME for real ;p

Hope y'all are having a great Wednesday!

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon . For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Garden is planted
See that random standing up log to the right? haha there is a story there.
This was about maybe 2 or 3 years ago back when I had my little green truck. Dad and I went deer hunting saw that log thought it looked cool. Put in the back bed of my truck and drove that silly log 2 hours home ;p Now we lean the garden hoe up against it and put horseshoes on it along with deer antlers.
beautiful right? you can say no... its ok.
But That garden looks good!! Love summer for the fresh garden food YUM!

When I was younger my Dad used to sit down and play me all his rodeo songs. My fav is "I Can Still Make Cheyenne" by George Strait.
Sunday while the rest of my family was taking Sunday afternoon naps.
Daddy and I recorded us singing it. lol i gotta say. I did this so 20 years from now when I'm married have kids and my Father is grey headed and i'm almost to the point of loosing my eye sight. I can look back and smile :)

And since i'm talking bout my Daddy
FISH! Dad went fishing.

:D have a blessed day!

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
